Knowledge-Well is an online learning platform that allows anyone to create, sell, or attend online courses. Instructors can share their expertise on any subject—from academic tutoring to trades, hobbies, and professional development—while students can learn anytime, anywhere.
Is Knowledge-Well free to use?
It’s free for students to browse and purchase courses. Instructors pay a monthly subscription (Free, Starter, or Premium) to create and sell their courses. Each plan offers different levels of functionality and the ability to host more courses.
How does Knowledge-Well make money?
Knowledge-Well earns through tutor subscription fees and a 30% commission on each course sale. This allows us to provide secure hosting, marketing, payment processing, and support services.
Can I teach on any topic?
Yes! If you can teach it, you can host it on Knowledge-Well—academic subjects, trades, hobbies, fitness, business, art, or personal development. However, all content must comply with our Instructor Agreement and laws (no illegal, discriminatory, or infringing material).
Is Knowledge-Well like other platforms?
Yes, but with a more creator-friendly model—lower costs, fairer commissions, and the freedom to build your teaching brand. Our pricing and payout structure are designed to help instructors earn more per sale.
How do I become an instructor?
Simply create an instructor account, choose your subscription plan (Free, Starter, or Premium), and begin uploading your course materials (videos, PDFs, quizzes, etc.). You must agree to the [Instructor Agreement] and [Terms & Conditions] when registering.
What are the differences between the subscription plans?
Each plan offers varying levels of functionality, such as:
Free Plan: Limited number of courses; access to basic tools only.
Starter Plan: More courses, marketing tools, and access to Zoom integration.
Premium Plan: Full functionality including advanced analytics, higher course limits, and live event hosting.

Can I host free courses?
Yes—but you must still have an active instructor subscription. The number of free courses you can host depends on your plan tier.
How are course prices set?
You can set your own retail price. Knowledge-Well may run promotions or discounts to boost visibility, but your revenue share (70%) remains unaffected unless agreed otherwise.
When and how do I get paid?
You receive 70% of the net course revenue (after VAT, refunds, and payment fees). Payouts are processed via Stripe or bank transfer within 5–7 business days after a 14-day hold period, ensuring all refunds or disputes are cleared.
Does Knowledge-Well help promote my course?
Yes, we regularly feature instructor courses in email campaigns, search highlights, and advertising channels to increase visibility.
Can I use Zoom for live lessons or webinars?
Absolutely. Zoom integration is included for Starter and Premium subscribers, enabling you to host and sell live, interactive sessions directly from your Knowledge-Well dashboard.
How do I enrol in a course?
Create a free account, browse the course catalogue, and purchase any paid or free course. Once enrolled, you can access all lessons and materials at your own pace.
Do I receive a certificate after completion?
Yes, if it is offered by the course creator. A digital certificate of completion is issued once you finish the course. Note that these certificates are informational and not accredited qualifications.
Can I get a refund if I’m unhappy with a course?
Yes. Students are entitled to a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, as outlined in our [Refund Policy]. If you haven’t started the course, you can also cancel within 14 days of purchase.
How long do I have access to my courses?
Unless otherwise stated by the instructor, your enrolment gives you ongoing access to all purchased course materials through your account.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. All payments are handled by secure third-party processors (Stripe). Knowledge-Well does not store full card details.
How is my personal data protected?

Do you use cookies?

What if my course is reported or removed?
We may temporarily suspend or remove content that violates our Terms, infringes intellectual property, or breaks the law. You will be notified and given the opportunity to respond or appeal.
How are disputes or chargebacks handled?
All transactions and communications are logged. If a refund or chargeback occurs, the affected instructor’s future payouts may be adjusted in line with our Refund Policy.
Can users under 18 join the platform?
Yes, but users aged 13–17 require parent or guardian consent and must comply with our safeguarding requirements. Users under 13 are not permitted to create accounts.
What laws govern Knowledge-Well?
Our platform is operated by Knowledge-Well t/a Earhart Group Ltd, governed by the laws of England and Wales (or Northern Ireland if domiciled there).
